Soccer Recap: Avalon Comes Up Short

Avalon and Webb pushed the score to 8-0 the last time they played Webb, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Lancers fell 2-0 to the Gauls. The defeat continues a trend for Avalon in their meetings with Webb: they've now lost eight in a row.

Avalon's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Webb, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1-1.
