Soccer Recap: Mount Vernon Takes a Loss

The Mount Vernon Mustangs didn't have quite enough to beat the Wesleyan Wolves on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Mount Vernon's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Wesleyan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Coincidentally, Mount Vernon and Wesleyan will both be playing Mount Pisgah Christian the next time they take the pitch. Wolves will host the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
