 Marysville has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the West Campus Warriors at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Marysville had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed by Dixon at home  to the tune of  70-15 on Tuesday. The  contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  47-8.
  Abigail Pietz and  Demi Boykin were among the main playmakers for Marysville as the former  scored 24 points along with eight  assists and four  steals and the latter  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and ten  steals. Pietz is crushing the  steal category: she's  posted at least three every time she's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Krystal Briggs, who  scored 11 points along with five  rebounds and five  steals.
 Meanwhile, West Campus had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 45.3 points), and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Calaveras as West Campus made off with a  56-30 victory.
 West Campus' success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Leilani Edinburgh, who  scored 21 points, and   Loismary Justice, who  scored 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Edinburgh has scored at least a third of West Campus' points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Esabel Otsuji, who  scored 13 points.
 Marysville has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 17 of their last 18 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record  this season. As for West Campus, their win was  their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 21-6.
 Marysville took a serious blow against West Campus  when the teams last played  back in February of 2018, falling  65-13. That  match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Marysville was down  32-8.
