Football Recap: Berkeley Springs Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Jalen Miller and Kyle Moore + How To Watch

Berkeley Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 19-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southern Rams. Despite 67 more yards than the Rams, the Indians couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Kyle Moore and Jalen Miller certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Moore picked up 100 receiving yards and one score, while Miller threw for 166 yards and one TD.

Southern can attribute much of their success to Hayden Williams, who rushed for 54 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Berkeley Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Southern, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Berkeley Springs will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hampshire at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. The contest will give the Indians their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Southern, they have already played their next game, a 42-0 defeat against Allegany on the 9th.
