With a playoff win on the line, Greater Beckley Christian rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mount View Golden Knights, sneaking past 43-40. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-61 back in January.

Greater Beckley Christian found their leader in sophomore Leah Adkins, who posted 23 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Adkins has scored at least a third of Greater Beckley Christian's points. Destyni Farrish was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.

Greater Beckley Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Mount View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
