Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pierce County). Their defense stepped up to hand the Brantley County Herons a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Pierce County, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Pierce County and bumps their season record up to 10-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two matches. As for Brantley County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Pierce County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Coffee on the 18th. Brantley County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
