Top 50 high school football scores: Ollie Gordon rushes for 455 yards, Euless Trinity upsets No. 12 Allen

Quinn Ewers, the top-rated prospect in the Class of 2022 returns, leads No. 37 Southlake Carroll to win over Arlington Martin.

Euless Trinity's junior running back Ollie Gordon had one of the best single game performances in Texas high school football history. The three-star tailback finished the night with 49 carries for 455 yards and six touchdowns in a 49-45 upset win over No. 12 Allen to advance to the 6A Division 1 quarterfinals.

Up next is a matchup with No. 37 Southlake Carroll (Southlake).

The top-rated prospect in the Class of 2022, Quinn Ewers, made his return and led the Dragons to a thrilling 30-26 win over No. 36 Martin (Arlington) to advance to the Texas 6A Division 1 quarterfinals. It was Ewers first start since Oct. 30 and he finished the night throwing for 251 yards and three scores.

No. 2 North Shore and its four-star quarterback Dematrius Davis put on a show in the Mustangs 47-22 win over No. 21 Tompkins in the third round of the Texas 6A Division 1 playoffs. The future Auburn Tiger accounted for 386 yards of total offense and seven touchdowns.



Texas A&M signee Shadrach Banks had over 200 total yards and two touchdowns as the Mustangs won their 28th consecutive game.

The back-to-back runner up in 6A Division 1 looked impressive on Thursday as No. 7 Duncanville shutout Westfield (Houston) 56-0. The defense allowed 74 total yards and forced three turnovers including a 36-yard pick-six from Alabama signee Kendrick Blackshire.

Grayson James threw for nearly 200 yards and three touchdowns with two of them going to Roderick Daniels.

The win sets up a huge quarterfinal matchup with No. 23 DeSoto who beat Spring 27-21 thanks to four second half touchdown passes from Illinois signee Samari Collier.

No. 31 Highland Park (Dallas) advanced to the 5A Division 1 quarterfinals with a 30-20 win over Lone Star (Frisco). Hawaii commit Brayden Schager threw for 231 yards and two touchdowns while Brooks Bond rushed for over 100 yards and a score.

The Scots will face No. 9 Ryan (Denton) in the quarterfinals. Five-star Texas signee Ja'Tavion Sanders accounted for 120 total yards and two touchdowns in the Raiders 27-9 win over Longview.



No. 25 Katy rolled past the defending 5A Division 1 champs Shadow Creek (Pearland) 49-24 as the Sharks moved up to 6A this year. The Tigers sophomore quarterback Caleb Kroger threw for five touchdowns in the win and up next for Katy is Clear Falls (League City) on Jan. 2 with a spot in the 6A Division 2 semifinal up for grabs.
