While Pojoaque Valley might've come up empty on Friday, D'Marcus Rodriguez wasn't going down without a fight. Rodriguez was excellent, rushing for 122 yards and one touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.3) per game.

Rodriguez and Pojoaque Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Robertson at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The contest will pit Rodriguez up against the Cardinals' star signal caller Nathan Gonzales.
