Soccer Recap: Jefferson Takes Down Foshay in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Jefferson had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Foshay Wolverines by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in December of 2024.

Jocelyn Rodriguez and Ashley Anguiano scored both of Jefferson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Jefferson pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matchups. As for Foshay, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Jefferson is taking a road trip to challenge Fairfax at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season. Foshay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
