Baseball Recap: Sheboygan Falls Comes Up Short

Sheboygan Falls extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 3-15. They lost 12-0 to the Valders Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 27-14 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

As for Valders, their record is now 5-10. The contest marked their most dominant win of the season.

For Valders' part, Austin Ebert made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Ebert has become a key player for Valders: the team is undefeated when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 2-10 otherwise. Ebert was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Valders got a big performance out of Carter Valleskey, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Valleskey has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Schuster, who went 2-for-3 with three runs.

While Sheboygan Falls had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
