Needles extended their home winning streak to 16 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Gianna Collier. The Needles Mustangs simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Laughlin Cougars 79-8 thanks in part to Collier, who went 9 for 14 to rack up 24 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. The contest was her 12th in a row with at least 22 points.

Another player making a difference was Isabella Harvey, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game.

Despite the loss, Laughlin still got an impressive performance from Lucy Braaksma, who posted six points.

Needles' victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Laughlin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Needles wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-11 win against Lake Mead Christian Academy on the 7th. As for Laughlin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-45 loss against GV Christian on the 7th.
