Soccer Game Preview: El Dorado vs. Rosemont

The El Dorado Cougars will face off against the Rosemont Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. El Dorado's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

El Dorado managed to keep up with Argonaut until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cougars came up short against the Mustangs, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, El Dorado can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1053rd, while Argonaut are ranked 387th).

Meanwhile, Rosemont didn't have quite enough to beat Galt on Wednesday and fell 2-1. Rosemont have struggled against Galt recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Rosemont's goal came courtesy of Jalaya Cozart, who's now up to four this season.

El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-2. As for Rosemont, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1.
