Recap: Crescenta Valley vs. Beverly Hills

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Crescenta Valley Falcons walked away with it. They never let the Normans onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Thursday.

Crescenta Valley was led to victory by the tag-team duo of Emily Martinez and Leah Farhadian, who scored both of Crescenta Valley's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 26 so far this season.

Crescenta Valley pushed their record up to 16-6-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three games. As for Beverly Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7-3.

Crescenta Valley didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss vs. Louisville on the 10th. Beverly Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
