Basketball Recap: North Hills Christian Takes a Loss

North Hills Christian played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 53-21 defeat at the hands of the Trinity Prep Crusaders. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-4.

Trinity Prep was led to victory by Avigail McDonald and Allie Duncan. McDonald went 14 for 28 en route to 31 points along with five boards and three steals, while Duncan dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. The game was McDonald's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Evelyn Falsini, who posted four points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Hills Christian fell to 2-1. As for Trinity Prep, their record is now 6-1.

North Hills Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 41-24 victory against Napa Christian on the 21st. As for Trinity Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-41 win against Averroes on the 17th.
