Softball Recap: George-Little Rock Takes a Loss

George-Little Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the South O'Brien Wolverines, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 on June 4th.

George-Little Rock's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for South O'Brien, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-10 record.

Looking ahead, George-Little Rock will look to defend their home field on Monday against St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. As for South O'Brien, they will challenge Harris-Lake Park at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
