South Winneshiek posted their closest win since June 12th on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Kee Kee Hawks 11-9. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Kee Hawks on Wednesday, they had to take a 9-5 loss.

The win got South Winneshiek back to even at 14-14. As for Kee, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 14-8.

South Winneshiek didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-0 loss against Sumner-Fredericksburg on the 27th. As for Kee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-0 defeat against Waverly-Shell Rock on the 28th.
