Preview: Council Rock North Indians vs. Bensalem Fighting Owls
After five games on the road, Council Rock North is heading back home. They will take on the Bensalem Fighting Owls at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Council Rock North strolled past Harry S. Truman with points to spare, taking the game 41-22. The victory was just what Council Rock North needed coming off of a 53-24 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Bensalem came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Council Rock South by a score of 41-34.
Council Rock North's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Bensalem, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
