North Gwinnett faced Wesleyan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Bulldogs took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

North Gwinnett's loss dropped their record down to 20-3. As for Wesleyan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-2.

North Gwinnett wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Cherokee Bluff on the 24th. As for Wesleyan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pace Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
