Basketball Recap: Valley View's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Valley View can now relate to. They received a blow on Wednesday as they fell 61-46 to the Audenried Rockets. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rockets from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Audenried to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nasiaah Russell, who posted 13 points. Heaven Reese was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Valley View's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-6. As for Audenried, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Audenried, they have already played their next contest, a 67-27 win against Northern Lebanon on the 15th.
