Pauls Valley never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Cordell Blue Devils with a sharp 6-0 win. The Panthers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 15th (when they won 8-2).

Pauls Valley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cordell, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Pauls Valley is taking a road trip to take on Bridge Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cordell, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Thomas-Fay-Custer at 6:00 p.m. on September 9.
