Baseball Game Preview: Waterloo Bulldogs vs. Jersey Panthers

For the second straight game, Waterloo will face off against Jersey. The Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Waterloo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Jersey will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Waterloo extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 4-1.

Caden Castello looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Waylon Glaenzer was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Conrad Lindhorst, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Jersey's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Waterloo, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
