Softball Game Preview: Mooreland Bearcats vs. Arnett Wildcats

Mooreland is 2-8 against Arnett since September of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Bearcats will head out to take on the Wildcats at 12:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Mooreland came up short against Shattuck on Friday, falling 14-3.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Arnett took on Hydro-Eakly on Friday. The Wildcats lost 10-4 to the Bobcats.

Arnett's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Mooreland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Mooreland couldn't quite finish off Arnett when the teams last played back in September of 2024 and fell 6-4. Can the Bearcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
