Rome had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.4 goals) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They never let the Calhoun Yellow Jackets get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Considering Rome have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Rome pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five contests. As for Calhoun, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
