Basketball Game Preview: Johnson Warriors vs. Armijo Royals

The Johnson Warriors will challenge the Armijo Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Johnson hasn't scored more than 25 points for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Last Friday, Johnson was beaten by Burbank 55-15. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered against the Titans since January 5, 2016.

Meanwhile, Armijo took a blow against Fairfield on Friday, falling 71-18. The Royals haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Armijo, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Johnson didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Armijo in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 46-40 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Johnson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
