Baseball Recap: Twiggs County Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Twiggs County's offense. They came up short against the Montgomery County Eagles on Thursday, falling 21-0. The Cobras just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Twiggs County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Montgomery County, their victory ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-14.

Twiggs County and Montgomery County will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Twiggs County sees the field they'll take on Northeast at 4:00 p.m. on April 7. As for Montgomery County, their break will end when they face Wheeler County at 5:30 p.m. on April 8.
