Soccer Recap: Don Bosco Takes a Loss

Don Bosco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Denver Cyclones, falling 8-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Don Bosco of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Don Bosco's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Denver, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

When Don Bosco and Denver next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Meanwhile, Denver will take on Aplington-Parkersburg and their six-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Denver are on a three-game streak of home wins, Aplington-Parkersburg a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
