Softball Game Preview: Denmark vs. North Forsyth Raiders

Denmark hasn't had much luck against North Forsyth recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Denmark will face off against North Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. Denmark will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

On Thursday, Denmark beat Lambert 9-4. That's two games straight that Denmark has won by exactly five runs.

Meanwhile, North Forsyth had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Wolverines. Considering the Raiders have won 15 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

North Forsyth's win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Denmark, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.

Denmark beat North Forsyth 8-5 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Denmark since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
