Soccer Game Preview: Swainsboro vs. Bleckley County

Swainsboro is 1-7 against Bleckley County since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Swainsboro Tigers will look to defend their home pitch against the Bleckley County Royals at 7:00 p.m.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Friday. Swainsboro fell 2-0 to Claxton.

Meanwhile, Bleckley County narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Jefferson County 5-4. The Royals better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Riley Lawson, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Swainsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Bleckley County, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Swainsboro came up short against Bleckley County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Swainsboro avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
