Flowery Branch barely beat Winder-Barrow the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons blew past the Bulldoggs 11-1 on Thursday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Flowery Branch and bumps their season record up to 14-9. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Winder-Barrow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-7.

Coming up, Flowery Branch will take on Mill Creek at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Winder-Barrow, they will face off against Dacula at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Bulldoggs have won five straight at home, while the Falcons won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
