Dickson waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Community Christian Royals get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won 14 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Dickson's win bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Community Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-19.

Dickson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 defeat against Lexington on the 2nd. As for Community Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 11-1 loss against Blackwell on the 2nd.
