Aleigha Meyers was a major factor in Affton's victory over Hancock on Wednesday. Meyers was unstoppable, striking out 16 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and 11 unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Meyers and Affton will venture away from home to challenge Bayless at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
