Softball Recap: Timnath Comes Up Short

Timnath lost against Berthoud back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cubs came up short against the Spartans, falling 20-2. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Timnath saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Kejr, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Timnath's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Berthoud, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Timnath is set to challenge their familiar foe Thompson Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Berthoud will face off against rival Northridge at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
