Basketball Recap: Dixon Rams vs. Casa Roble Rams
The Dixon Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Casa Roble 62-20 on the road. That looming 62-20 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Dixon yet this season.
Dixon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brianne Castelli out in front who scored 12 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Castelli has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Morris, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Dixon has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-14 record this season. As for Casa Roble, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 16 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-22 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Mira Loma the next time they take the court. Casa Roble will head out to face Mira Loma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Dixon will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
