Football Recap: Sam Bradley and Nate Zimmerman Secure Win for Cascade

Cascade took a 22-point defeat the last time they faced off against Eagleville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Champions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles on Thursday, sneaking past 24-21. This was payback for the Champions, who suffered a 28-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Cascade was led to victory by Nate Zimmerman and Sam Bradley. Zimmerman rushed for 66 yards and a pair of TDs, while Bradley threw for 126 yards and one touchdown.

Cascade's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Eagleville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Cascade and Eagleville will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Champions are set to take on their familiar foe Sequatchie County at 8:00 p.m. on the 19th. Meanwhile, Eagleville will face off against rival Cornersville at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
