Ridge has gone 6-1 against Phillipsburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Red Devil will head out to square off against the Stateliners at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Ridge's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Hillsborough with a sharp 7-0 victory. The Red Devil not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16th (when they won 13-3).

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Phillipsburg made sure to put some runs up on the board against Warren Hills Regional on Monday. The Stateliners blew past the Blue Streaks 14-2.

Phillipsburg has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 18-8.

Ridge was able to grind out a solid win over Phillipsburg in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 8-5. Will the Red Devil repeat their success, or do the Stateliners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
