Holden's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Chillicothe Hornets a 6-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Holden's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Chillicothe, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Holden will head out on the road to challenge Nevada at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chillicothe, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-5 victory against Kirksville on the 13th.
