Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ligonier Valley). They walked away with a 59-51 win over the South Allegheny Gladiators on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Gladiators back in January, they had to take a 27-12 defeat.

Ligonier Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sydnee Foust led the charge by dropping a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Adleigh Myers was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Ligonier Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.3 assists per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.8.

The victory made it two in a row for Ligonier Valley and bumps their season record up to 7-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for South Allegheny, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
