Recap: Hemet Bulldogs vs. Linfield Christian Lions
The Hemet Bulldogs came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 49 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Linfield Christian with points to spare, taking the game 64-50. With that win, Hemet brought their scoring average up to 50.6 points per game.
Hemet's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kayana Olds led the charge by dropping a double-double on 21 points and 21 rebounds. Olds is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Wolbeck, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Hemet has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Linfield Christian, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
