Baseball Recap: Foxborough Takes a Loss

Foxborough extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 6-12. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Seekonk. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Seekonk this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-6 back in April.

As for Seekonk, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games.

For Seekonk's part, Avian Da Rosa was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Da Rosa a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lucas Pimentel, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Foxborough nor Seekonk have any future games scheduled.
