Softball Recap: Auburn Has No Trouble Against Aurora

In Friday's Canine Competition, Auburn prevailed. Everything went their way against the Aurora Huskies on Friday as they made off with an 8-2 win. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 15-2 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Gretchen Paschal made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Paschal was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bree Wehenkel, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Morgan Stanley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
