Volleyball Game Preview: Windsor Wizards vs. Greeley West Spartans + How To Watch

Windsor is 6-1 against Greeley West since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wizards will venture away from home to take on the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Greeley West took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Windsor, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Windsor made easy work of Poudre and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wizards in their matchups with the Impalas: they've now won three in a row.

While Windsor won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-8, 25-16.

Windsor got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hallie Burroughs out in front who had four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Burroughs a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Avery Smiley, who had 17 digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Windsor was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Greeley West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Fossil Ridge, falling 3-0.

Greeley West's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Windsor, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Windsor took their win against Greeley West in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Wizards have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
