Baseball Game Preview: Lithia Springs Lions vs. Rome Wolves

After both having extra time off, the Lithia Springs Lions and the Rome Wolves will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 13 consecutive losses for Lithia Springs and seven for Rome.

Friday just wasn't the day for Lithia Springs' offense. They lost 10-0 to East Paulding last Friday.

Meanwhile, Rome also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Villa Rica last Friday, falling 12-0.

Rome saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Slatky, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Rome's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Lithia Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
