Murphy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Starmount Rams by a score of 14-2 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won ten matchups in a row.

Murphy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Dalton Farmer, Grayson Hall, and Ryan Payne picked up one apiece.

Murphy's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Starmount, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 11-3 record.

Coming up, Murphy will be playing at home against Tarboro at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 31 points in their last ten contests. Starmount does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
