Softball Recap: Grandview Find Success

Grandview won the last time they faced Ponderosa and things went their way on Friday too. The Wolves came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 7-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Sasha Kennedy, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last four games she's played. Maddie Donaldson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Grandview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Grandview's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Ponderosa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Grandview and Ponderosa will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wolves are set to take on their familiar foe Eaglecrest at 11:00 a.m. on the 13th. Meanwhile, Ponderosa will face off against rival Regis Jesuit at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
