Basketball Recap: Calvary Chapel Comes Up Short

Calvary Chapel played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies 88-47. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-25.

Valeria Arcos went supernova for Godinez Fundamental, going 8 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points. Those 26 points gave Arcos a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brianna Lopez, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 14 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Calvary Chapel has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Godinez Fundamental, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-8.
