The Eastlake Titans will face off against the Point Loma Pointers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastlake is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 13 games.
Eastlake is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They had just enough and edged out San Marcos 5-3. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Eastlake got a great performance from Lucas Yriqui as he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Yriqui has been consistent for a while: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Joel Vargas was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was JP Conero, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI.
Eastlake always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Marcos only posted an OBP of .300.
San Marcos typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Point Loma proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Knights 12-5.
Wyatt Smith tossed a big game, pitching 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits.
On the hitting side, Ace Selchow and Wyatt Olson did most of the damage at the plate: Selchow went 1-for-4 with one home run and five RBI, while Olson went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Selchow has launched this season. Jaxon Seiler was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs.
Eastlake's win bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Point Loma, their victory bumped their record up to 19-10-1.
Eastlake skirted past Point Loma 3-1 in their previous meeting on Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
