Nevada hasn't had much luck against Prairie City-Monroe recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cubs will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m.

Nevada is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game on Friday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greene County.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Prairie City-Monroe, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Grand View Christian with a sharp 11-1 victory on Friday. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Prairie City-Monroe pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Nevada, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
