Softball Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for Sayre

Sayre barely beat Hooker the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sayre pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Hooker, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Sayre does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hooker, they will head out on the road to take on Hobart at 1:00 p.m. on the 18th.
