Yreka is 8-1-1 against Anderson since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Miners will challenge the Cubs at 3:15 p.m. Yreka's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Yreka's offense. They lost 5-0 to University Prep on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Anderson can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Central Valley 1-0.

Yreka's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-2. As for Anderson, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6-2 and their overall record up to 3-14-3.

Yreka was able to grind out a solid victory over Anderson when the teams last played back in January, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Miners since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
