Soccer Recap: Kell Comes Up Short

The matchup between Kell and Sprayberry on Friday hardly resembled the 1-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Kell Longhorns came up short against the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets, falling 8-3. The Longhorns were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Brandon Graham and Diego Silvano scored all three of Kell's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Kell's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sprayberry, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Kell will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Allatoona at 7:30 p.m. on February 25th. Sprayberry will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against North Gwinnett at 8:00 p.m. on February 25th.
